ABOUT
David Cameron started his law enforcement career over 30 years ago with the City of Campbell, first as a Reserve Police Officer then, full-time Police Officer. In those 30 years, David has had assignments as a Motorcycle Officer and has 17 year’s experience in collision investigation, and has attained an accreditation an accident reconstructionist. David served on the Campbell Police SWAT Team for 18 years and served as an ATL and Team EMT. David was the creator of the Campbell Police UAS program and as its manager, finishing his full-time career as a Financial Crimes Investigator. David continues to serve Campbell as a Reserve Police Officer and remains the Department’s UAS Program Manager.

David has served as a Lead UAS trainer, Field Training Officer, Active Shooter Response Instructor, Advanced Tactical Entry Instructor, Major Accident Response Team lead, and Crime Scene Response Team member. He served on the Board of Directors for the California Association of Accident Reconstruction Specialists for 11 years.

David has completed POST AICC (Academy Instructor Certification Course), Basics UAS Operator Course, Advanced UAS Operator Course, Advanced Tactical UAS Operator Course, Nighttime UAS Operator Course, Active Shooter Response Instructor course, and Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Accident Reconstruction courses.

EDUCATION

David received a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from the University of Charleston, awarded POST Basic, Intermediate, and Advance Officer certificates, and has over 1000 hours of continuing education in accident reconstruction.
